This 3/4 cello shows true German craftsmanship. Despite the cosmetic blemishes acquired over its career as a rental cello, it is structurally and mechanically in very sound condition, with no cracking or splitting. This Schroetter cello has a much nicer tone than you will get from a new instrument in this price range, and should outlast a cheap new instrument.

The cello is set up with Helicore strings and comes as a complete outfit with case, fiberglass horsehair bow, and rosin. The case shows a bit of wear near the top of the zipper and at the bottom of one of the bow pockets (see pictures). However the case's stress points have held beautifully and it has many years of use left in it.
